What is Continued Professional Development (CPD)?

Continued Profession Development (CPD) is a compulsory requirement of all members of the Jamaican Institute of Quantity Surveyors (JIQS). The purpose of CPD is to ensure that members of the JIQS keeps abreast of all developments in the profession so as to ensure that the best professional service is delivered to their clients. Members are required to have a minimum of 60 hours of CPD every 3 years with a minimum of 10 hours of learning activities in any 1 year.
